Biography:
Marvine Abwao also known as Mavo On The Beat started is a professional music producer. He is also a talented artist. He was born and raised in Kisumu, graduated from Maseno University in 2012, and currently based In Nairobi. He is currently one of the dopest gengetone producers in Kenya. He is also a singer and songwriter and has won a couple of awards (Vybez Awards 2013 and 2015). He started professional music production in 2013 in Nakuru by working as an employed producer. Later on, started his own studio (Marvine Music Studio) a year later. It wasn't so easy picking up and being stable but he kept pushing. He did lots of free audios in order to market the studio and luckily it worked out. In a few months, he was the top producer in Rift Valley and Nyanza region. Almost 80% of the top songs in the region were produced by Mavo.

n 2018 he permanently moved to Nairobi.
In the beginning it was a little difficult trying to discover a sound that would define him, as the new market was quite competitive. He was well known for his mixing and mastering skills, which was an added advantage.He started working with a few well know musicians and kept pushing until his works started playing on rotation in the tv and radio stations.

In late 2019 he teamed up with VDJ Jones and collaborated with several gengetone artists to release hits after hits. He has worked with musicians such as Juacali, Vivian Kenya, Boondocks Gang, Sailors 254, Psycho, Gwash, Vuva, BreederLw, Boss MOG, Guardian Angel, DK KwenyeBeat, Mbuzi Gvng, Benachi, Mr. Seed, Sudi Boy, Joefes, HushBk.

He is currently signed under Black Market Records, as a artist and producer.
