Robyn Ottolini - Trust Issues (Official Music Video)
Trust Issues is a song about vulnerability: admitting my faults in order to get through them. Just me and the lyrics in a way. This video is just that… a vulnerable girl in front of a camera just trying to process her own shit. I can trust y’all with it though, I know that

LYRICS:
He wanted my body without knowing my name
He came on too strong and he's gone the next day
He was a shot of tequila without the chase
Yeah, it's hard but I'm taking it day by day
Yeah, he broke a heart that wasn't his to break
I don't need another heartbreak in the making
I don't need another boy who's seeing me naked
I can't fall in love if I leave ya
You can't break my heart if I don't need ya
I'll say "yes" to the first date, but never the second
Who's ignoring who, who's keeping who guessing?
Yeah, you have problems, I have 'em too
Yeah, I got trust issues
I got trust issues, yeah
You say that you wait for a girl like me
You got your mama's eyes and your daddy's dreams
But form what I've learned, love always leaves
That's the way that it's always been
You probably shouldn't wait for a girl like me
'Cause I don't need another heartbreak in the making
I don't need another boy who's seeing me naked
I can't fall in love if I leave ya
You can't break my heart if I don't need ya
I'll say "yes" to the first date, but never the second
Who's ignoring who, who's keeping who guessing?
Yeah, you have problems, I have 'em too
Yeah, I got trust issues
I got trust issues, yeah
And I can't do the back and forth's, yes and no's
Maybe this will be better if we took things slow
Maybe we could try in a month or so
But I don't want to try in a month or so
No, I'm just getting good at being alone
I don't need another heartbreak in the making
I don't need another boy who's seeing me naked
I can't fall in love if I leave ya
You can't break my heart if I don't need ya
I'll say "yes" to the first date, but never the second
Who's ignoring who, who's keeping who guessing?
Yeah I can't tell if it's me or you
But I'm betting that it's me and not you
'Cause, I got trust issues
I got trust issues
I got trust issues
I got trust issues
I got trust issues
I got trust issues, yup
Introducing the Eminem of country music. Well, sort of. Robyn Ottolini makes music that will either piss you off or make you fall in love with her. Maybe a little of both. Raised in a small town outside of Toronto called Uxbridge, Ottolini has been treating songwriting like a diary since the age of 13. The homegrown artist has taken cues in recent years from the likes of Kacey Musgraves and Maren Morris, infusing her lyrics with honesty and fearlessness. Ottolini had already released two independent projects, including The I’m Not Always Hilarious EP, and earned a Rising Star Award nomination at the Country Music Association of Ontario Awards before connecting with a global audience through TikTok. The raw relatability of her hit “F-150” resonated with fans, who drove it to No. 4 on Spotify’s all-genre US Viral 50 chat and No.3 on Rolling Stone’s all-genre Trending 25. “F-150” soon made its way down to Music City, where it reached the ears of the team at Warner Music Nashville – and never left. Within weeks, Ottolini had signed with WMN in the most 2020 way possible: in her pajamas, on her bed. With more than 22 million streams already to her name, the singer / songwriter’s unfiltered vulnerability is clearly connecting. Buckle up for 2022.
