A few months ago NICOLOSI and I were in the studio and we started talking about the end of the world. To be fair, 2020 really felt like it. We talked about all of the issues our generation is facing from COVID-19 to systemic racism to climate change. You know, your typical genzenial anxiety spiral. Dancing While the World is On Fire is my perspective on where we go next. It was inspired by the glimmer of hope I saw in our generation organizing, unifying, and discussing important issues on social media and IRL. I guess you can call me chaotically optimistic but I truly believe if any generation is going to save the world, it's this one. I decided to work with Zero Hour and environmental activists like Jamie Margolin, Zanagee, and Shane Coopersmith on this video because I want to raise awareness for the climate crisis and because their constant hard work inspires me to give back to our planet.
