Story Behind The Song: I wrote the lyrics to this song when I was 24 and finished the song with some cowriters when I was 27. I’m now 28 and releasing this song because I feel like there needs to be more songs about your 20s but also because everyone I believe can relate to the feeling of unknown. Sometimes things are grey. Sometimes things are not clear. Sometimes you have to see through the clouds. Sometimes you have to follow your heart and know your path is your own. “24” is about feeling lost and not knowing what will happen in the future but following your heart even when there’s no clear road and finding out where you’re supposed to be and who you’re supposed to be is what it is. Your road is unique. Your path is your own and its unknown, uncontrolled, pure and strong. Trust the next chapter because you are the author.
